Big Day Out: Bigger and Better Than Ever Before!

Last Weekend saw the Gold Coast leg of the Big Day Out hit our shores. Over 55,000 festival punters sporting short shorts, obligatory Ray Ban knock-offs and singlets rocked out.

Headliners Muse didn't disappoint the crowd, wreaking havoc with their electrifying set and proving why they are one of the strongest bands around today.

British singer Lily Allen cranked out her highly infectious pop-hits and caused some welcomed controversy by wearing a rather "revealing" black outfit (check the pics here).

Mr. Dizzee Rascal, on the other hand, had a deodorant stick thrown in his eye! Dizzee jumped into the crowd and allegedly took a swing at the dude (a little rascal). Why do these people come out to gigs to start unnecessary business? One word, kill-joys. The hip-hopper, in good form, went-on leaving most people to think his set was one of the best of the day.

Groove Armada, The Temper Trap, Kasabian and Calvin Harris tore up the Big Day Out as well. Temperatures in the early 30s didn't stop the festival from being a must-go-to event on the summer festival calendar.
