2010 sees Australia’s own indie pop ingénue LISA MITCHELL step on board, guitar in hand for her first BIG DAY OUT tour.

Despite finding instant fame at the tender age of sixteen through a TV talent competition, LISA has become a credible artist in her own right. Instead of accepting offers of a glossy instant career, LISA choose to develop her own sound through a tried-and-tested grass roots approach of touring and songwriting. Along the way, LISA traveled the world, refining her live performance, charming everyone, and gathering many new, totally smitten fans.

While touring the U.K LISA got the chance to take her special indie folk pop sounds to the masses, and live out a childhood dream of playing the iconic Glastonbury music festival, which still has her in a state of disbelief: “I’ve lately had more trouble than normal convincing myself that I am in fact playing at it and am still very much alive and not in some blissfully deluded wonderland. Or am I??”
